On the hottest days, I chose the wooliest yarn to knit with and suddenly, YES, I changed the weather. It is nine degrees and raining. I apologize to the rest of Vancouver, but this is absolutely my favourite weather to knit in!

I have been so wrapped up in projects this week that I haven’t posted….How about a few pics.

Simple shapes, wonderful designs.

The hat is in merino wool, the flower is suede, embellished with a button and embroidered.

Rather than kissing a frog, how about wearing one. I will not be pricing this hat for sale as Pearl contributed the amazing frog. We will call him Phillip.

So much hand spun and so little time, yet, I have to knit some of it. I have decided to use it in scarves to mix with some beautiful hand dyed kid mohair that I have. Lots of turquoise (already done) and now I’ve moved into pinks and browns.
And because everything can’t be chunky, one more fine free form crochet.

Pearl is coming over…..wool will abound, knitting will happen and the sci fi channel will be on nice and loud. Can’t ask for a better day than this.
