……beautiful handspun yarn grows on trees.
Imagine —an entire day in the backyard, full sun, 3 girlfriends, spinning wheels, crochet, knitting and sewing. Pineapple tea and sandwiches and a fantastic show and tell.
Judy just returned from a trip to England. While she was sharing her stories the fibre goodness surrounded us.
The breeze moved the yarn in long waves and the scent of Eucalen and the lavender from the garden filled the air. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it is magic.
Hi Jenny.
Thanks for your note. Here’s the awful confession about the tea. It is the Fairmont Hotel’s personal blend, I accidentally stuck in my suitcase after we stayed there two weeks ago.. Actually 3 of them fell in my luggage, so I have an extra one here. Send me your address and I’ll mail it to you. It really will be the most amazing tea you’ve had.
Sounds heavenly on your side of the whorled. I am on the other coast, in Nova Scotia, where it is raining. (Thank heavens.)
A question; is that pineapple tea you had? Or pineapple and tea and sandwiches. Pineapple tea sounds very, very interesting. I’ve never seen it or is that because I haven’t looked hard enough?
Happy knitting,
Janey
