Joan whisked me off to Victoria for the day. A surprise day trip, knitting on the ferry and visiting yarn shops in Victoria…..what could be better?
How about a few pics.

New Yarn, new project…I am loving this merino and my Victorian garden colourway.
It seem strange to feel unaccomplished, then look at the blog post and think –Holy Shit, not bad for a day.
Loving all the new stuff!
The merino is gorgeous. I love those peachie pinks.
A nice day! Yay!!
The Beehive's the best yarn shop I've seen to date. I always drop in when I'm Victoria. I'm in Ottawa now, though, so it would be a bit of a trip. 🙂
I still have that small ball of yarn I won, and have been dragging it around to some corners of the globe. I might want to eventually order some black yarn from you to add to it. Here it is still in Vancouver:

…Reading your blog again has put me in a knitting mood. I think I'll bring my sweater to Bridgehead cafe in the Glebe. 🙂
Look at all the yummy yarn!! *drools*
The new yarn looks amazing knitted up!
