Is it June 1st already?
Well, we did it. A trio of judges and a bottle (or so) of wine later and the results are in. Since there were so many amazing entries, I could not leave it to just one winner (although one clearly stuck out for me) . Thanks to everyone —special thanks to Kim for helping me with the contest and LimenViolet (adminnie) for chumming about it.
So here we have it…..
Exit, pursued by bears
submitted by Harper.
I have no idea when or how this will be created, but it will happen. Harper, please forward your mailing address and your colour preference for your special MelonHead KnitWear hand spun goodie.
Now, for the 4 other posts I absolutely have to knit or spin….(in no particular order)
Asleep on a Marshmallow – Sandra
The Air Hung Shiny as Candy – Jessica Marie
I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool – Nettie
As a Matter of Fract – Rich
Now you four folks will get a special thank you, 50g of my hand spun. I know it wasn’t in the original contest, but your entries were fantastic and I couldn’t say no. I need your mailing address and colour choice and your little thanks will be on it’s way.
I want to let everyone know that the minute any of your titles is incorporated into a design, it will be posted, you will be notified and I will send you a little thank you. It is my goal to eventually work my way through the list.
Starting next Friday, each Friday will be reserved for design posts so that you can see what happened. Since Kim helped with the contest, she withdrew her ideas from the contest…
Her idea, Slugs on the Run was knit a few weeks ago ( I couldn’t contain myself) and sold at the Farmer’s Market at Trout Lake yesterday.
Thanks to Mike, John and Joan for a smooth market setup yesterday. I couldn’t have done it without you!
Hey Rich, please e-mail me your contact info…I loved all of your titles.
Is it June 7th. already? 😉
A warm thank you, Carmen, I’m honoured. Fun inspirations from everyone really, so I’ll dedicate my prize to them.
By the way; your blog’s slideshow images look made by the software, ‘Mojoworld’. I have it on my computer but have yet to learn it. 🙂
Hooray, Hooray! Thanks! I am very excited about your handspun!
